Pregnancy adds burden to the heart! About 23% of pregnant women’s deaths are linked to cardiovascular disease!

According to a 2019 report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), cardiovascular disease is a contributing factor in about 23% of pregnancy-related deaths among pregnant women. Despite ongoing medical progress, a woman’s hormones and cardiac vessels will be regulated during pregnancy, increasing the heart’s workload by 30% to 50% and potentially posing health risks to the mother.
